Trauma therapy workshop

Recently, following the corona virus and the accompanying difficulties, it was decided to hold a workshop for Horizon teams – social workers, house mothers and social counselors – on dealing with trauma.

During the workshop they will examine what a crisis actually is and how to deal with it mentally.

The workshop prepares the professional staff to deal with the trauma of teen girls, while providing important tools and explanations about behavior and responses.

The workshop will help the teams to provide a professional and immediate response to the girls dealing with trauma who participate in the warm homes program.
