Our successes at Migdal Or in 2021 - employment
Three visually impaired workers were hired to work at the SolarEdge plant, an advanced plant in the north for the production of receptors for converting solar energy into electricity. This operation, under the direction of Ala Su’ad, Migdal Or’s employment promotion coordinator, was particularly challenging, due to the difficulty of finding more than one employee who meets the same criteria for the position in a geographical range suitable for the plant’s location. The three – Abraham, Salah and Shlomo have been coming by bus from the Krayot, Nazareth and Isfiya for almost a whole year, and managed to show up every day for work even during the COVID epidemic.
