seeing differently – occupational rehabilitation for the blind and visually impaired
Figures
People with blindness or visual impairment of any type cope with significant challenges in an environment that is not always accessible, both physically and in terms of services, and that is frequently influenced by wrong perceptions or prejudices. Blindness and visual impairment affect every aspect of life – from daily functioning and navigating the public space, to employment, integration in the academia and more.
Migdal Or offers a rehabilitative program that places the individual, their strengths and the importance of their independence– in relation to themselves and their environment – in the center. It provides practical skills, strengthens self-efficacy and self-value, and the sense of belonging and security.
