Opening ceremony of the Galil-Golan Kerem Center

Children and youth living in northern Israel who were sexually abused, will find it easier to seek help – thanks to the opening of a new regional Kerem treatment center for the Galilee and Golan Heights. The new center is based in Hatzor and has 7 branches across the region. Together with the existing centers in Carmiel and Nazareth and their 8 branches, the vital state-funded service is available now in 18 northern communities. All centers have an expert team of psychologists, social workers and therapists. They offer treatment and support to children and their families, as well as community-oriented education and training activities.
