Strengthening social services

Northern Goals operates to strengthen the network of social services in Israel’s northern region. This activity is guided by the belief that personal and community resilience is a vital foundation for social mobility and equal opportunity. In a time of severe workforce shortages and ongoing challenges in both routine and emergency, the Foundation provides professional support, training and the strengthening of the status of social services departments within the local communities. This activity includes the development of professional teams, support for workforce planning and the recruitment of high-quality personnel, while expanding the ability of these departments to provide meaningful, targeted and effective services for the residents of Israel’s northern region. Through the reinforcement of the welfare infrastructure across the different communities, Northern Goals contributes to the foundation of stable systems that promote social resilience and expand the opportunities for personal and social growth of the northern residents.
